Terms of Use

These terms govern use of jura.co.ke and the Jura add-in for Microsoft Word. By using Jura, you agree to them.

Licence

Subject to these terms and an active membership or trial, Jura grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service and add-in for your own authorised professional work. Jura and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software and branding.

Professional responsibility

Jura is a drafting, research and workflow tool. Its output may be incomplete or wrong and is not a substitute for professional judgment. You remain responsible for reviewing citations, facts, deadlines, filing requirements and final documents.

Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials and devices secure, and use only content and workspaces you are authorised to access. You may not bypass usage limits, probe other accounts, disrupt the service, or use Jura unlawfully.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Jura the limited permission needed to process that content to provide, secure and support the service. Do not submit content unless you have authority to do so.

Third-party services

Jura interoperates with Microsoft services and may use infrastructure, identity, AI and payment providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms. Links to external legal-information or court services are provided for convenience; Jura does not control their content or availability.

Subscriptions

Paid access, renewal and cancellation are governed by the terms shown during purchase. Applicable taxes and payment-provider terms may also apply.

Availability and liability

The service is provided subject to maintenance and occasional interruption. To the extent permitted by law, Jura disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and changes

Access may be suspended for security, non-payment or material breach. You may stop using Jura at any time; subscription cancellation takes effect under the purchase terms shown to you. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without excluding any mandatory rights that apply to you. Questions can be submitted through Jura Support.
